Neuron ESB has released a new update.

Together with the update Neuron has released some webcasts. If you dont know the product, take ten, and check it out ;)

Neuron ESB Release 2.5.10

I’m very happy to announce the Post Release Patch, 2.5.10, for Neuron ESB 2.5. If you are using an earlier released build, you can download this latest release to update your system to Neuron ESB 2.5.10. This will require any previous version of Neuron to be uninstalled first. To determine the current version you are working with follow the instructions posted on our support site, What version of Neuron are you running?.

The Post Release Patch contains accumulated fixes, documentation updates, as well as incremental, customer requested updates to Neuron ESB. The complete list of changes can be found in the change log (Neuron Change Log) located at the root of the Neuron ESB installation directory as well as on our support site.

The focus of this release was performance. Many enhancements were made to the TCP transport used for Topics, database functions like auditing, internal services as well as the scale out of remote connected clients.  There are now several new tuning parameters exposed to control performance, resiliency as well as resource utilization.  A new white paper describing some of the enhancements and the new tuning parameters has been posted to our forum and is a must read, Neuron Topics using TCP.

Upgrading to this release is fairly straight forward and requires updating existing ESB Configuration files. You can read more about the update considerations on our forum here.
